Jenny Phono was trained by the developers of Phono-Graphix in the United Kingdom and the United States in 1999. She established Read For Africa in 2000 to bring this internationally recognised literacy method to South Africa with the vision that everyone would be “Reading for Africa.”
Over the past 25 years, Jenny has trained more than 15,000 teachers, therapists, tutors, parents, and literacy professionals. She has personally helped hundreds of children and adults overcome reading and spelling difficulties through the evidence-based Phono-Graphix approach.
